The Center of Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona (CMR[B]) is an internationally recognized center for research in pluripotent stem cell biology and applications. The CMR[B] is inviting applications for three new Independent Group Leaders at junior or midcareer level to complement and extend the existing programs.

Study Areas:

Cell replacement therapies for (i) heart failure, (ii) non-malignant hematological diseases, and iii) age-related macular degeneration; and iv) iPSC-based modeling of neurodegenerative diseases.

Requirements:

• PhD in Health Sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, etc.
• Successful candidates should have an outstanding pre and postdoctoral record, an ambitious project for their future group, and be strongly motivated to catalyze the clinical translation of regenerative medicine strategies in their disease/organ target of choice.

Duration: initially for 4-years, tenure-track period
