Indian Institute of Packaging invites applications for filling up of the Professor /Additional Director, Associate Professor/Joint Director, Deputy Director (Tech)/ Assistant Professor posts in the Indian Institute of Packaging (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry) in its Head Office at Mumbai and the Regional Centers at Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangaluru and as also some new Regional Centers.
Professor /Additional Director
Number of places: (02) Two
Salary: Rs. 37400-67000 (PB–4) + Grade Pay Rs. 8900.00
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 10 years’ experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; OR
- Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 15 years’ experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subjects.
- Experience will be counted in teaching subjects related to Packaging/working in packaging or package user industry/organizations dealing packaging development , research, standardization etc
Desirable:
- Possession of PG Diploma in packaging.
Associate Professor/Joint Director
Number of places: (02) Two
Salary: Rs. 37400-67000, (PB-4) + Grade Pay Rs. 8700.00
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 6 years’ experience in teaching /industry / research in related subjects; OR
- Post Graduate degree in Engineering/ Technology/Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 10 years’ experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subjects.
- Experience will be counted in teaching subjects related to Packaging/working in packaging or package user industry/organizations dealing packaging development, research, standardization etc.
- Desirable: Possession of PG Diploma in Packaging
Deputy Director (Tech)/ Assistant Professor
Number of places: (01) One
Salary: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay 6600
Age limit: 40 Years
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Science/Applied Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the field related to packaging.
- The candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in industry/training/testing/consultancy etc. OR
- Graduate in Science/Applied Sciences + PG Diploma in Packaging with at least 10 years industrial experience preferably in a packaging related industry/testing /training/consultancy etc.
