Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is offering individual PhD research projects. Applicants are allowed to provide a project description of their own. In this case, applicants are required to first contact a potential mentor directly in order to agree on the project description and supervision.

- Light Sources & Industrial Sensors
- Nanophotonics
Note: These subjects are applicable for all scholarships
Qualifications requirements:
- Applicant must hold master’s in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in Engineering.
Approval and Enrolment:
- The scholarships for the Doctorate degree will be subjected to academic approval
- Applicant will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes of DTU.
Salary and appointment terms:
- The salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the current rules for Doctorate degree students.
