Call of applications for Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund- Round by Department of Biotechnology  (DBT).

Applications are invited for joint research proposals to be implemented by Indian scientists / researchers in collaboration with the Australian counterparts.

Core Areas: The priority areas / fields of research for Round 10 of the Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund are:

  1. Disease control – tropical, lifestyle and emerging diseases
    1. Countering antimicrobial resistance
    2. Drugs, vaccines, immunomodulators and immunotherapeutics
  2. Medical technologies
    1. Biomedical devices and implants
    2. Diagnostics

Under this Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund, the Indian Gov. will contribute towards the direct costs of bilateral activities in any of the priority areas for collaboration.

DURATION OF ACTIVITIES: Projects may range from short bilateral collaborations to more complex projects spanning for upto three years

Funding agency: Support is provided under the Indo-Australian Fund for Science & Technology Cooperation in Biotechnology (Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund) for Bilateral collaborative research projects involving Indian and Australian partners.
