Essential / Desirable Qualifications
Scientist ‘F’
- PhD degree in Natural/Agricultural/Engineering/Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/Technology.
- In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.
- At-least 6 years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD
- high quality publications; Patents filed / granted; PhD students guided
- Experience of 12 years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institutions.
- Experience as Head of Department / Centre or Coordinator of major research projects in any branch of science / technology.
- Have contributed to research/teaching as evidenced by published work/innovation and impact.
- Age limit: 50 Years
Scientist ‘E’
- PhD degree in Natural/Agricultural/Engineering/Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/Technology.
- In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.
- At-least four years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD
- high quality publications; Patents filed / granted
- PhD students guided
- Experience of 10 years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institutions.
- Experience of evolving, managing and directing research projects under relevant branch of science/technology.
- Have contributed to research/teaching as evidenced by published work/innovation and impact.
- Age limit: 45 Years
