The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), (established by the Reserve Bank of India) is inviting applications from top talent with high passion for Research, Academics and Practice in the area of Banking Technology for the positions of Assistant Professor.

Qualification:
  • Applicant must hold PhD in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems/Information Security/Banking Technologies or Closely Related Areas.
  • Applicant must have secured a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a consistently good academic record throughout.

Specialization:

Candidates should have necessarily specialised in at least one and preferably in two or more of the following areas and also have a keen interest in applying their knowledge in the niche area of Banking Technology:

  • Computing Technologies and Architecture
  • Information Science and Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Database Systems
  • Network Systems
  • Information Assurance
  • Cyber Security
  • Electronic Payment and Settlement Systems
  • Big Data, Social Networks and Analytics
  • Other Closely Related Areas

No. Of regular positions: up to 03 Regular Faculty members at the level of Assistant Professor
