Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences offers an open call for an Academic Year 2017/18. The applicants will be selected by a regular recruitment process, in justified cases, via online interview.
The recruitment will take place at 10:00 a.m., on 19 September 2017 in Sopot, Poland.
The institute invites outstanding young graduates interested in cooperating with researchers from the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences in the area of marine physics, carbonate chemistry in sea water, ecology of benthic organisms. The European level of scholarship is offered by the institute.
Responsibilities:
- The Doctoral student is expected to participate in the activities of the 4 year long PhD study program and to conduct individual research that would lead to obtaining a PhD degree in oceanology by the end of the program.
Qualification:
- In the recruitment process, special attention will be given to research skills. The assessment of research skills will focus primarily on merits within the selected subject area of the future study.
- Proficiency in English and good writing skills are a prerequisite.
