Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, invites international faculty members to teach two or three weeks in July and August 2019 at AU Summer University. The international guest lecturers who can teach at Bachelor or Masters level.

Salary:

  • Salary: 6.375 EURO for teaching one 5 ECTS course and 8.500 EURO for teaching one 10 ECTS course.

Teaching duration:

  • 2nd July – 12th July (5 ECTS) or 2nd July – 19th  July (10 ECTS)
  • 22nd July – 2nd August or (5 ECTS) or 22nd July – 9th August (10 ECTS)

Requirements:

  • Candidates are expected to teach all weekdays, start and end date included.
  • Teaching hours per course is 27 hours for 5 ECTS courses and 54 hours for 10 ECTS, which means a daily class schedule of 9-12/9-13. Class sizes range from 20-50 students.
  • Besides teaching, it is expected that candidate will evaluate the written exam and two retakes.
  • Candidates are expected to hold a PhD degree and will be selected according to their teaching and research experience, and publication record within the field of the proposed course.

  • It is highly recommended that candidate submit a course proposal (a brief outline of aim, main issues, learning objectives and teaching methods) in the application.”
  • It is important to state the level (BA or MA) and extent of the course (5 or 10 ECTS).
