Internship for International students; DMU 1320 views

Global Interns offers a 13 week paid internship on campus during studies at DMU, helping students gain valuable work experience and become more employable after graduate.

Tasks involved:

  • All internships are based within DMU.
  • Students will be working in an administration role or helping write social media content or supporting the Vice-Chancellor’s office or working on projects within the university’s faculties and professional services departments, as well as some lab-based opportunities.

Duration:

  • Starting date: Monday, 15 October 2016.
  • Internship will last for 13 weeks and involve 10 hours work per week.

Stipend:

  • £8.25/hour.
  • Payments are made on monthly basis; directly into student’s bank account.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a new International undergraduate or postgraduate taught student joining DMU for the first time in September 2016.
  • Applicant must hold an offer to study at DMU and have paid the £3,000 tuition fee pre-payment before accepting the internship.
  • This internship is not open to foundation students, study abroad students, exchange students or postgraduate research students.
