JRF position is available in the field of “Analytical Modelling of Laser assisted turning and Laser assisted milling”. Analytical Modelling of Laser assisted turning and Laser assisted milling” at Mechanical Engineering Department, NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Initial appointment for 01 year, extendable up to 03 years based on performance. The objective of the 03 years position should be aimed at obtaining a doctoral degree at the NIT Andhra Pradesh with peer reviewed publications.

  1. The fellowship for JRF at the rate of Rs.25000/- per month during 1st and 2nd years and Rs.28000/- for the 3rd year plus 20%HRA.
  2. For candidates with M. Tech. with GATE score, there is a possibility to register for Ph.D. in NIT Andhra Pradesh under the guidance of Principle Investigator (PI).

Required Qualification

  1. E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical /Manufacturing /Metallurgical /Materials/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) with GATE qualification.
  2. The ability to work closely and collaborate with colleagues is a must. Proficiency in the English language is required.
  3. Candidate with the knowledge of finite element analysis of machining processes will get preference.
