Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for DST-SERB funded project entitled “2D molecular architecting by interface engineering for high mobility field effect devices and 3D nanoelectronics device integration in flexible displays”.

Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Nationality:  Applicant should be an Indian citizen.

Duration: Three years or completion of project, whichever is earlier.

Age limit: Below 28 years on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.

Minimum qualification: M.Sc. in Physics (specialization in Solid State or Condensed Matter or Materials) or M. Tech. (Materials Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering) with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Applicant with preliminary knowledge and experience in experimental physics of semiconductors, nanomaterials, device fabrication/processing/characterization or related areas is plus.

NET/GATE/JEST qualified candidate will be preferred.

Last Date of Application: 31st July 2018

Fellowship as per DST rules:

For M.Sc. with NET/GATE/JEST qualification OR M.Tech. –

Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA

For M.Sc. without NET/GATE/JEST qualification –

Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA

  • Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.

  • The JRF is also eligible to register for PhD in SRM IST.
