JRF position at National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL): NARL is a centre of excellence involved in doing front ranking research in atmospheric and space sciences and development of related technologies. NARL desires to recruit a Junior Research Fellow to work on a project ” Temporal and spatial characterization of the Martian thermosphère, ionosphere, and exosphere (TIE) system”.
The project involves processing and analysis of data from the Mars upper atmosphere obtained by the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) and the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) spacecraft.

Fellowship: For 1st & 2nd year Rs.25,000/-per month + HRA
For third year Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA

Duration: 03 Years
Essential qualifications: Post-Graduate degree in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics with
- 60% marks or equivalent grade and
- Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET /GATE / ]AM/ JEST.

- The position is temporary
- Renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years.
- Candidate selected for this position may also apply for the regular PhD program in any of the universities in India.
