CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. CERN is inviting applications for its Junior Fellowship Programme.

This Programme is aimed at graduates from universities or higher technical institutes in a wide range of applied sciences, computing and engineering with limited or no work experience, looking to work in a research group.

Qualifications:
  • Applicant must be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
  • Applicant must have graduated, or are about to graduate, with a university degree (BSc or MSc level) and have no more than 4 years’ relevant experience after obtaining your degree.

Duration: 6 months (minimum) up to a maximum of 36 months

Fellowship value:

  • Stipend: 5,185-6,438 Swiss Francs per month (net of tax).
  • Health scheme (for candidate, your spouse and children), and membership of the CERN Pension Fund.
  • An installation grant, family, child and infant allowances as well as travel expenses to and from Geneva (depending on individual circumstances).
