The John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress invites application for Kluge Fellowship in Digital Studies. The fellowships are to examine the impact of the digital revolution on society, culture and international relations using the Library’s collections and resources.
Eligibility:
- Applications are open to scholars and practitioners worldwide.
- Applicants can be of US nationality or foreign nationals.
- Applications are open to scholars from all disciplines.
- Applicant must hold PhD or other advanced terminal degree.
Duration: 11 months
Stipend: $4,200 per month
Number of fellowships: Up to three (3) Kluge Fellowships in Digital Studies will be awarded by the Library of Congress.

- Complete project proposal, including: single-paragraph abstract; statement of proposed research (maximum 3 pages); explanation of why the Library of Congress is the appropriate venue for your research (max 1 paragraph); bibliography of works
- Three references with completed reference forms from people who have read the research proposal
- Applicants must indicate the collections of the Library of Congress that will be used for research.
