LANEF PhD Program: Natural Sciences 1323 views

LANEF is a ‘Laboratoire d’Excellence’ that associates five fundamental research labs based in Grenoble: Institut Néel, INAC, G2ELab, LNCMI and LPMMC. LANEF is inviting applications for its PhD Program. The program support PhD training of excellent students. The thesis will be prepared in one of the five laboratories on a topic related to one of the thematics.

Requirements:
  • Applications are invited from highly talented and motivated students of any nationality.
  • Applicant may be from different backgrounds viz., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, and Mathematics; can demonstrate a strong interest in the fields of LANEF.
  • Applicants must hold a master’s degree and must be fluent in English language.
  • A good mobility (within the country of origin – or internationally) demonstrated during the undergraduate courses will be considered as a plus.
  • Applicant must have already found a PhD supervisor in one of the 5 laboratories of LANEF and be able to propose a thesis project in agreement with his/her future thesis supervisor.
  • A thesis project based on synergies between the 5 laboratories or the different

Note: Through this call, the LANEF program will fund only the first half (18 months) of the PhD grant. You need a co-founding for the second half.
