The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (Psychology Department) at University of Amsterdam is inviting applications for Lecturer in Social Psychology. The position will commence from September 2019.
About the position:
- Applicants must have proven ability and motivation to teach in the Social Influence track and/or the Cultural Psychology track of our master’s program as well as in the interdisciplinary bachelor program Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE).
- The selected candidate will be responsible for: 1) teaching, developing, and coordinating bachelor and master level courses and tutorials on social-psychological topics, including social influence and/or cultural psychology; 2) supervising student research projects at bachelor and master level.
Requirements
- Applicant must hold PhD in social psychology;
- Applicant must have experience in teaching, developing, and improving courses and supervising theses on social-psychological topics at the bachelor and master level (with good evaluations);
- Applicant must have a Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO);
- Applicant must possess excellent English proficiency;
- Applicant must demonstrate willingness to learn Dutch (if applicable).
