Scholarship value: cover fees; living expenses; £18,000/year for four years (with annual renewal subject to satisfactory academic performance at the School).

Duration: 4 years
Nationality: Scholarships are available for UK, EU and Overseas (International) students undertaking full time research in any LSE discipline.
Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be granted on academic merit and research potential.
Requirements:
- There is no separate application form for these awards.
- The selection is based on the PhD application to the School.
- There will be 3 rounds of studentship selection, with a closing date associated to each round.
Application deadlines are as follows:
- deadline for MRes/PhD Economics for 2018 entry (including PhD Studentships and ESRC funding): 13 December 2017
- funding deadline for first round of PhD Studentships and for ESRC funding for 2018 entry: 8 January 2018
- funding deadline for second round of PhD Studentships deadline for 2018 entry (some departments only): 26 April 2018
