Margdarshi Fellowship scheme is the Wellcome Trust and DBT India Alliance conglomerate and invites application for the same. The program provides a distinctive break for futurist biomedical researcher to direct and nucleate a spiteful edge research in India in association with Indian Host Institution(s). The probable candidates and the Host Institute are encouraged to make a synergistic endeavor towards establishing a centre of distinction that aims to progress the existing systematic span and utilizes the knowledge of the lead candidate for developing new investigate platforms. Under this programme two suitable Indian organizations may also approach jointly towards creating a novel program under the guidance of a farsighted scientist.

 Requirements:

  • All nationalities and origins are eligible to apply pursuing or aim to pursue research study at any organization in India.
  • No age limit for the Fellowship.
  • Applicants must not use this proposal to propose a post-retirement settlement plan.
  • Candidates would generally be likely to be running a sovereign laboratory for at least 10 years and have a stupendous scientific record.
