University of Trento and the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences – CIMeC invites expressions of interest from excellent postdoctoral researchers to apply, jointly with a research supervisor from CIMeC, to the EC Skłodowska- Curie Individual Fellowship.

Duration of Fellowships: 12-24 months

Fellowship value: competitive salary, mobility and family allowances with budget for research and training costs

About the Research:

  • Brain organization via the analysis of its functional, structural and physiological characteristics, in both normal and pathological conditions
  • State of-the-art instrumentation includes fMRI, MEG, EEG, fNIRS, rTMS, tES and eye tracking solutions, as well as systems for studying kinematics.
  • In addition, the Center for Neurocognitive Rehabilitation specializes in the study and rehabilitation of neuropsychological cases.
Postdoctoral Fellowships

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must hold doctoral degree or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience by 12 September 2018.
  • Applicant must NOT have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organisation (Italy) for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the call deadline.

  • Application form duly filled in and signed (2 pages proposal description)
  • Motivation letter
  • CV (max. 2 pages) with full list of publications
  • Copy of the valid ID or passport of the applicant.

Important dates:

  • May 10th, 2018: Selected applicants will be notified
  • The second half of May the University of Trento will offer a 2-day training session dedicated to Marie Skłodowska Curie Candidates with the possibility to discuss the details of the proposal and meet the supervisor
  • July 13th, 2018 a complete draft of the application has to be prepared;
  • August 31st, 2018 the final version of the project MUST be ready otherwise CIMeC reserves the right to withdraw its support to the proposal.
