Position: Postdoctoral Researcher

Overview
Processing and magnetic and structural characterizations of rare earth permanent magnets.
Required Qualification
Successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science or Applied Physics (or any related field) with experimental skills for handling fine powders of rare earth magnetic alloys.
Experience Required: Strong background on magnetism and magnetic materials. Prior experience on macrostructure characterizations using SEM, TEM and FIB is desirable.
Selected candidate is expected to work on the development of rare earth magnets in collaborate with the members of Research Center for Magnetic and Spintronic Materials(CMSM).
Duration: 1 year (renewable up to 5 years)
Work Hours: 7 hours 45 minutes a day (negotiable as the flex-time system).
Benefits: Will be decided based on prior experience and skills according to NIMS regulations.
