Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai in association with the Faculty of Health, Deakin University, Australia offers 2 scholarships for PhD studies through Deakin’s Incountry PhD Program (ICPP). Successful scholar will complete their doctorate in India in the challenging areas of Diabetes and Obesity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must have scored high in Master’s degree from a recognized leading University
- Applicant must have completed thesis of 10,000 words as part of the Master’s program
- Applicant must have at least 70% marks in all exams from Graduation onwards
- Applicant must have some Research publications
Benefits:
- The successful candidates will be registered in a PhD at Deakin University, Australia and will receive a 100% tuition-fee scholarship.
- MDRF will offer a monthly fellowship as per the institutional guidelines.
- Candidates will be based at MDRF’s campus in Chennai for the duration of the PhD.
- Joint guidance will be provided to the PhD student both from Deakin and MDRF faculty.
- The candidates will have an opportunity to travel to Australia (Deakin University) for duration of up to 6 months.
