Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Invites Application for 7 Teaching Posts (Associate Professor and Assistant Professor)

I. Associate Professor

Number of Vacancy: Two (02) Posts

Required Educational Qualifications:

1. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned /allied /relevant disciplines.
2. The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for all candidates to be appointed as Associate Professor through direct recruitment.
3. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).

Required Experience:

1. A minimum of eight (08) years of experience of teaching and /or research in an academic /research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work
2. A minimum of 5 publications as books and /or research papers in refereed journals only/policy papers.

Salary / Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + AGP Rs.9000/-

II. Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: 05 Posts

Required Educational Qualification:

1. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech).
2. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:
3. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization
4. Two Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

Salary / Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.6000/-
