Mitacs Postdoc Fellowship at DoseBiome: DoseBiome is located at the heart of downtown Toronto in the MaRS Discovery District. DoseBiome invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the Research Scientist, position in Microbial Genetics and Probiotic Metabolites. This position will be responsible for the translational research and development of products that manages human health via the manipulation/modulation of the microbiome. This is a new Mitacs position with DoseBiome, a Toronto-based biotechnology startup, and the Navarre Lab at the University of Toronto.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree PhD in Microbiology, Microbial Genetics, or related fields having experience with Molecular Biology, including PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, Isolation and Analysis of Bacterial Proteins and Metabolites, Cloning and Bacterial Expression Systems, a strong emphasis on Probiotic research and Bacterial Fermentation. Candidates must have a strong background in Microbiology, with an emphasis on Microbial Genetics or Microbial Protein/Metabolite research. Candidates should hold a strong translational focus and be passionately committed to driving innovative technologies
