MOES – 10 Scientist Positions: Recruitment for the vacant posts of Scientists in ‘C, ‘D’,’F’and ‘G’ levels at the Ministry of Earth Sciences on regular (direct recruitment) basis.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for filling up of 10 vacant positions of Scientists in C, D, F, and G levels in Ministry of Earth Sciences (Proper) on direct recruitment basis as per the following details:-

Scientist ‘C

Number of posts : 02 (Atmospheric Science, Ocean Sciences (one post each)

Scientist D’

Number of posts :04 (Ocean
Technology, Geoscience, Geophysics, Polar Sciences, Cryosphere & Reachout-Science Communication (one post each)

Scientist ‘F’

Number of posts :03

Atmospheric Sciences, Ocean sciences, Meteorology, Ocean Technology & Geoscience, Geophysics, Polar Sciences (one post each)

Scientist ‘G’

No. of posts :01 (Atmospheric Sciences)

Age: Not exceeding 50 years

Required Essential Qualification 

1. Master’s degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Oceanography or Geoscience or Meteorology with atleast a 60% marks in the qualifying degree level or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.

Experience

16 years’ experience in teaching (at graduate or post graduate level), research and development, survey, administration, planning, supervision or training, etc., in the relevant field.

 Note: Doctorate (PhD) degree in the relevant field will count as 3 years’ experience.
