Mount Sinai Health System United States: Postdoc Fellow: The Mount Sinai Health System is a hospital network was formed in September 2013 by merging the operations of Continuum Health Partners and the Mount Sinai Medical Center. The Ronald M. Loeb Center for Alzheimers Disease, directed by Dr. Alison Goate, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for full time postdoctoral fellow in the genetics of neurodegenerative diseases under John Crary, MD-PhD to identify novel drivers of disease pathogenesis. Selected candidates will join a highly productive research team that includes geneticists, computational biologists, cell biologists and physician-scientists at the Loeb Center.
About the project: This NIH-funded project has concentrations on understanding the overlap between Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinsons disease, and other brain diseases. Candidates will play an dynamic role in deploying next-generation sequencing data (DNA and RNA) and correlating with novel endophenotypes to elucidate pathogenic drivers.
