Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion and the department of Molecular Theory and Spectroscopy invites application for a postdoc candidate with a strong background in quantum chemistry.
About the position:
- The position is available within the framework of the BMWi Project Development of low-cost electrodes for PEM fuel cells with low Pt loading on the basis of novel hollow graphitic spheres support materials (PtTM-HGS).
- The selected candidate will join the group of Alexander A. Auer (Dept. Professor Dr. Frank Neese) in molecular and heterogeneous catalysis, combined with computational chemistry.
- The position is available immediately, however the starting date is flexible.
Duration: initially 12 months; extension is possible.
Salary: as per the labor agreement for public service (TVöD), E13
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold PhD degree in Theoretical Chemistry/Physics.
- Applicant must have basic knowledge about quantum chemistry, theory and algorithms will greatly help.
