Max Planck Institute (MPI) of Biochemistry is offering 2 PhD Positions (Chromatin as limiting factor in the regulation of DNA repair pathway choice). The positions are available in the lab of Boris Pfander.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have recently obtained MSc or equivalent degree in Biochemistry, Biology or a related discipline of the Life Sciences
- Applicant must demonstrate very high interest in basic cell biology
- Applicant must be able to work independently
- Applicant must possess strong commitment and work ethic
- Applicant must demonstrate solid background in lab techniques (project I – molecular cell biology; project II – biochemistry)
- Applicant must show high level of interest in interdisciplinary approaches
- Applicant must be open for international cooperation
