Project Scientific Officer ‘E’
Number of Positions: One Position
Last Date: Wednesday, November 08, 2017
Qualifications & Experience:
- PhD in Science, Mathematics, Science/ Mathematics Education or a related field.
- 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
Desirable:
- Experience of developing and testing curricula, learning units, teacher education material, etc.
- Proficiency in writing in English, word processing and data analysis using softwares. Proficiency in writing in local languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati or any other Indian language in addition to English.
- Good communication skills and an interest in local practices, cultures, and diversity in the country.
- Willing to undertake extensive field work and travel to schools in different locations in Maharashtra and nearby states.
- Candidates with prior experience of leading material development and field teaching projects in an educational setup or those with additional degrees in education will be given preference.
- The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and can be extendable based on performance of the candidate.
Salary: A consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 70500/- (inclusive of HRA Rs. 7900/-) will be paid.
Age: Below 40 years.
Project Scientific Assistant ‘B’
Number of Positions: One Position

Qualification & Experience:
- The Candidate should have B.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences with at least 60% marks Or equivalent CGPA and one year post qualification experience in relevant field OR
- M. Sc. degree in Biological Sciences with at least 60% marks Or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidate should have basic knowledge of Word processing, Spreadsheets and Presentation.
Duration: 1 year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years based on the performance of the candidate (temporary).
Salary: Rs. 32,500/- (inclusive of HRA Rs. 3,600/-) will be paid.
Age: Below 28 years.
Project Scientific Assistant ‘B’
Number of Positions: One Position (Chemistry)
Last Date: Wednesday, 15 November , 2017
Qualification & Experience:
- The candidates should have a B. Sc. Degree in Chemistry with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and one year post qualification experience in the field of Chemistry OR
- M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable:
- Good computer knowledge in the areas of MS Word, Excel, Power point and Corel Draw or equivalent and familiarity with software like ChemDraw/BIOVIA Draw or equivalent.
- Experience with designing scientific materials for web and print media
Duration: 1 year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years based on the performance of the candidate (purely temporary).
