National Institute of Immunohaematology (ICMR) has organized a Walk-In/ written test Interview to be held on 18th January, 2017 to fill up the Scientist ‘C’ post on Temporary basis under the following adhoc projects.

Project: Quality Assurance Programme for Molecular and Prenatal Diagnosis of Hemoglobin Opathies

Qualifications & Experience

• Applicant must hold MSc First class in Life Science/Microbiology/Genetics/Molecular Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Chemistry.
• Applicant must possess 4 years research experience, preferably from a reputed Government Research Institute/University after MSc Degree OR
• Applicant must hold MSc Second class in Life Science / Microbiology /Genetics / Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry/Chemistry + Doctorate Degree in the relevant subject from recognized University with 4 years’ experience after M.Sc + Ph.D.
• Applicant must not exceed 40 years of age as on 1st Jan, 2017.

Desirable:

• PhD Degree in relevant subject from recognized university for candidates with Ist class M.Sc. degree
• Additional Postdoctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s)
• Knowledge of Computer Applications
• Hans-on experience in molecular Biology

Salary: Rs. 39,960/- per month (consolidated)

NOTES: Candidates with Doctorate Degree in Life Sciences/relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to 3 years’ experience.
