NGRI recruitment 2018-19 notification has been announced for the recruitment of 58 vacancies at National Geophysical Research Institute. 

The CSIR-NGRI desires to fill up the following temporary positions of Project staff against various projects viz., Grant-in-Aid, Sponsored Projects, In-house projects etc.: 

Position Type: Project Assistant (II & III), Project Scientist (R1, R2, R3)/ Research Associate & Various Vacancies can apply online application from 14th July 2018 and before 24th July 2018.

Eligibility criteria

Qualification

Project Assistant-II & III: B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or MCA or M.Tech in Mineral Exploration or Master’s Degree in relevant subject.

Research Associate/ Project Scientist (R1, R2, R3): Ph.D in concerned discipline or M.Tech in Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Embedded Systems

Age limit

Project Assistant-II: 30 years
Project Assistant-III/ Research Associate: 35 years
Project Scientist (R1, R2, R3): 40 years

Pay Scale

Project Assistant-II: Rs. 25000/- Per Month
Project Assistant-III: Rs. 28000/- Per Month
Research Associate: Rs. 36000/- Per Month
Project Scientist (R1): Rs. 48200 – 57800/- Per Month
Project Scientist (R2): Rs. 56100 – 67300/- Per Month
Project Scientist (R3): Rs. 87600 – 105200/- Per Month
