For Scientist ‘B’ (Statistics) (1 post- OBC):

Essential Qualification & Experience :

  1.  Ist Class Master’s degree in Statistics.

(Or)

IInd class M.Sc. in Statistics + Ph.D. in Statistics.

Desirable Qualification:

  1.  Doctorate in Statistics from a recognized University.
  2.  Additional Post doc research/teaching experience in Statistics.
  3.  Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data
    Management.
  4. 2 years R & D in health research/Teaching experience in Statistics
    after obtaining essential qualifications.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

For Scientist ‘C (Social Science) (1 post – SC):

Essential Qualification & Experience :

  1.  Ist Class Master’s degree in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology
  2. 4 years R & D/teaching experience in the relevant subject, after Master’s degree. (Or)
  3. IInd class Master’s degree in Social Work/Sociology/ Psychology/Anthropology/
  4. Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience, after Master’s degree + Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification:

  1.  Doctorate in Social work or Social Sciences (subjects mentioned above) from a recognized university.
  2.  Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in the above subjects in recognized Institute(s) in health research.
  3.  Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years. norms.
