NIPGR: Short-term Research Fellowship Program; RA 1311 views

NIPGR (National Institute of Plant Genome Research) invites applications from qualified scholars for filling up one position of Research Associate (RA) to work under the subject of “Characterization of Mitogen Activated Protein kinases in plants”.

The position is under the supervision of Dr. Alok Krishna Sinha, Scientist, NIPGR. The position comes under the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” program.

The position is entirely on temporary basis with maximum duration of 3 years. Initially the appointment will be for a period of 1 year, which can be extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Candidates must have PhD degree (awarded) in any discipline of Life Sciences.
• Candidate must have good academic record having first division throughout.
• Candidates with strong molecular biology and biochemistry background having experience working with transgenic system, protein-protein interaction and plant-pathogen interaction are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate having supplementary experience with signaling mechanisms and reversible protein phosphorylation will be preferred.

Salary:

• Fellowship amount for the position will be given at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST.
• NIPGR reserves all the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the credentials and experience of the candidate.
• Reservation of post shall be as per norms of Govt. of India.
