Nutrition Society invites applications for its sponsored two year Daphne Jackson Fellowship to be held at any UK university or research establishment.
About the fellowship:
- The fellowship is intended for individuals who want to return to research in the area of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health.
- The fellowship is dedicated to returning scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians to their careers following a break taken for family, caring or health reasons.
- Fellowships offer STEM professionals wishing to return to a research career after a break of two or more years, the opportunity to balance an individually tailored retraining programme with a challenging research project in a suitably supportive environment.
- This Fellowship is part-time over two years and consists of a challenging research project and at least 100 hours retraining per year.
