Organic Chemist, Analytical Services Branch (APS Level 5) at the National Measurement Institute (NMI).
About Organization: The Organics section at the NMI North Ryde is laboratory specializing in the analysis of trace organics in food & environmental samples.
Requirements:
- The section is looking for an analytical chemist with experience with analysis of trace organics in food / environmental samples.
- Experience with LC/MS/MS and/or GC/MS instruments is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in chemistry or equivalent is a minimum requirement.
Tasks Involved:
This is a key position in the Organics laboratory with the following roles and responsibilities:
- Analysis of samples for trace organics
- Working in a team environment to analyse samples
- Work in a team to improve methodology and/or create new methods.
- Follow NATA protocols and produce Quality results
