Leeds University invites applications for the Peter J. Buckley (PJB) International Visiting Fellow. The International Business Division at the University Business School has global recognition for the quality of its research and teaching.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • The PJB Fellow is expected to be actively engaged in the field of International Business and pursuit high quality research.

Key research areas:

  • Theory of the Multinational Enterprise;
  • Conflict and Litigation in International Business;
  • Foreign Direct Investment in and from Emerging Economies such as China and India; International Strategy and Firm Competitiveness;
  • Cross-Cultural Management and Language;
  • Corporate Governance in the International Firm;
  • Global Innovation;
  • Methodology in International Business

Requirements:

  • The Fellowship will be granted to scholars who have established themselves in academia.
  • Selected Fellow is expected to work in an academic institution outside of the UK, to have a strong track record of publications in top-tier journals in International Business and work closely with both senior and junior members of staff within the IB Division to publish impactful research.
  • Duration: 2-4 weeks in Leeds, give research seminars and deliver a few lectures to the students.
  • Note: this is not a post-doctoral programme. Recent PhD graduates are not appropriate candidates for the Buckley Fellowship.
  • The PJB Fellow will be expected to be either an Associate Professor or an early-stage full Professor.
