A Ph.D. fellowship position is available in the Functional Inorganic Material Group (KovalenkoLab).

Position Description

The research activities for this position involves the synthesis and sintering of solid-state Li-ion conducting materials, in-depth characterization of their chemical and electrochemical compatibility with metallic lithium, and the development of a new generation of all-solid-state Li-ion batteries.

Requirements / Qualifications

  1. Candidates should have a master’s degree in chemistry, physics, or engineering with outstanding grades.
  2. Should have a strong experimental background in the field of electrochemical energy storage
  3. Have good knowledge of solid-state chemistry.
  4. Experience in all-solid-state Li-ion batteries will be considered beneficial.
