Ph.D. (Doctoral) position on all-solid-state Li-ion batteries (Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering) at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
A Ph.D. fellowship position is available in the Functional Inorganic Material Group (KovalenkoLab).
The research activities for this position involves the synthesis and sintering of solid-state Li-ion conducting materials, in-depth characterization of their chemical and electrochemical compatibility with metallic lithium, and the development of a new generation of all-solid-state Li-ion batteries.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Candidates should have a master’s degree in chemistry, physics, or engineering with outstanding grades.
- Should have a strong experimental background in the field of electrochemical energy storage
- Have good knowledge of solid-state chemistry.
- Experience in all-solid-state Li-ion batteries will be considered beneficial.
Applications including a motivation letter, an updated CV, two to three recommendation letters (preferably sent by the referees), transcripts, and any other relevant documents should be sent to Dr. Kostiantyn Kravchyk (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Prof. Maksym Kovalenko (email@example.com) or through our online application portal.
