The Institute of Data Science Maastricht University invited applications from candidate who will perform analysis of opinions on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram, for Ph.D position in social media analyses to assess sentiment opinion among youngsters in Europe. Selected candidate will be appointed at the Institute of Data Science at Maastricht University.

Total Vacancies: 1 Position

Positions: Ph.D

Salary: €2.325,- with a yearly growth to €2.972,- gross a month and 8% holiday and an 8.3% year-end allowance is also provided

Duration: 4 years and will be extended for another 3 years according the performance.

Location: Implanted in a lively and creative working environment at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have master degree (MSc degree) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent with developed creative approaches to analysis and data exploration and Experience with text mining, sentiment analyses and data mining algorithms. Candidates must have Excellent oral and written English communication having Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team.
