A PhD Fellowship in Renewable Energy is available at the Department of Ecology and Natural Resource Management at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
Duration: 3 years
Qualifications
- Applicant must hold M.Sc. degree or equivalent within a relevant scientific area.
- Applicant must document knowledge of and interest in the research subjects.
- Applicant must possess strong analytical skills, motivation and enthusiasm for academic work and cooperative skills
Selection Criteria:
- Talent, interest and skills in performing quantitative analyses, economic studies and market analyses
- Knowledge of the Nordic energy sector and the Norwegian forest sector
- Skills in writing (English and Norwegian)
- Programming skills (competence in e.g. GAMS or Matlab is an advantage)
Salary:
- Salary for Doctoral scholarship starts at wage grade 50 on the Norwegian Government salary scale and follows ordinary meriting regulations.
- For well-qualified applicants, alternative salary placement could be considered.
