PhD studentships in in Parkinson’s, UK: The grants for brilliant students carrying out research in Parkinson’s disease are now available.
The in Parkinson’s PhD studentship scheme provides full-funding for three years to students based at a UK higher education institution.
Scholarship amount and duration:
- PhD studentship is provided for 3 years to students based at a UK higher education institution.
- stipend of £16,000/year (or £17,000/annum if in London)
- full PhD tuition fees (at the UK/EU rate)
- support of up to £10,000 per year towards research budgets
- Students from outside of the EU are welcome to apply for this scheme on a full fee paying basis.
- Supervisors should contact their university’s research office concerning fees for international students.
Eligibility
- PhD studentship system does not cover funding gaps for PhD students whose studies have already started.
- Home and international students must have an Ist or upper IInd class honours degree in a relevant subject.
- Applications must be made by the prospective student’s supervisor, who must be based at a UK University, hospital/ research institute.
