FWO PhD Fellowship Strategic Basic Research, Belgium

Description: This FWO Fellowship of PhD (strategic basic) enforces young researchers to cultivate strategically thinking and innovation oriented. It is economically funded.

Disciplines: Natural Science, Mathematical Science or any other relevant fields.

Qualifications: Diploma, Master degree or any Bachelor degree in above field.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must complete above degree in any of European Economic Area or Switzerland.
  • Master degree or any other equivalent diploma must have been obtained recently (less than 3 years).
  • Minimum of 18 months scientific experience.
  • Earlier have not received a FWO PhD fellowship.

Fellowship details:

  • Fellowship is for 2 years and renewable, once for two more years.
  • Monthly scholarship amount is minimum € 2,075.90.
  • Fixed bench fee is   € 3,720 per year.
  • Results are announced on 7th October 2021

Important Information:

  • Any other degree certificate awarded outside EEA and Switzerland, which is recognized by NARIC, is considered equivalent to specific Flemish Master Degree.
  • Same rules apply to the diplomas awarded in the UK
  • Can apply to this fellowship only two times
