ONCORNET2.0, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network (ETN) invites online applications from experienced researcher for filling up the PhD position of 3 years to work on project on oncogenic G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). This project aims unleash photopharmacology on the chemokine receptors CXCR4 and ACKR3 by investigating the synthesis and photochemistry of photosensitive small-molecule ligands.

Project: Photoactivatable ligand tools for CXCR4 and ACKR3 (ESR1)

Position: Ph.D.

Location: AMSTERDAM.

Salary: €2325 (PhD) gross per month during the first year and increases to €2972 (PhD) gross per month during the third year.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have Master in the field of in Chemistry (or related field) with a specialization in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and/or Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry and Experience in the design and synthesis of biologically active compounds. Candidates with Expertise in photochemistry, Expertise in medicinal chemistry on GPCRs will be preferred.
