The laboratory of “Organic synthesis & Catalysis” (Prof. Dr. Anna Lee) at Jeonbuk National University is looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. student to develop novel organic reactions based on green chemistry. (Starting date of the Fall semester: September 1, 2021).
Our research includes:
- Development of novel reactions in organic synthesis and small molecule activation
- Development of novel catalysis on the basis of green chemistry
- Visible-light-mediated reactions
- Radical reactions and so on
The students will have an opportunity to engage in various topics and gain expertise in organic chemistry.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Graduates in chemistry (B.S.) and M.S. degree in organic chemistry
- An outstanding and promising student in organic chemistry with prior experience in organic synthesis (NMR analysis, Mass spectroscopy analysis, purification skill etc.)
- An independent and harmonious student with excellent English communication
