PhD Position in Biochemistry – Chemo-optogenetics at Umeå University: Department of Chemistry , Umeå University invites online applications from eligible bright, candidates those are interested in research field for filling up the PhD Position within Biochemistry – Chemo-optogenetics in Department of Chemistry funded by European Research Council (ERC) and Wallenberg Foundation and bounded for four years full-time or up to five years when part-time teaching. This project is aimed on protein/peptide synthesis, cell imaging and organic synthesis.

Duration: 4 Years/5 years

Closing Date: 3 September 2018

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have completed a second-cycle level degree, or completed course requirements of at least 240 ECTS credits, of which at least 60 ECTS credits are at second-cycle level or have an equivalent education from abroad, or equivalent qualifications. Candidates are required to be fluent in both oral and written English.

Desirable: Candidates who have Experiences in protein/peptide chemistry, organic synthesis, and/or cell imaging will be preferred.
