The Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry (MMK) at Stockholm University invites applications for a PhD position in Inorganic chemistry (A).
About the Project:
- Project title: 3D Electron Microscopy for Nanostructure Research.
- Supervisor: Prof. Xiaodong Zou
- The project aims at development and application of new electron microscopy (EM) methods for studying atomic arrangements in nanocrystals of functional materials.
- The selected candidate will work in close collaboration with synthetic chemists in academia and companies.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have completed a second-cycle degree, completed courses equivalent to at least 240 higher education credits, of which 60 credits must be in the second cycle, or have otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge in Sweden or elsewhere.
- Applicant must have a strong collaborative and communication skill, be self-motivated and a good team player.
- Applicant must possess good knowledge on computers and programming.
- Applicant must hold Master’s or equivalent degree in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Sciences.
