PhD position: Molecular Microbiology/Biochemistry 1704 views

The Norwegian Environmental and Biological Sciences University (NMBU) invite applications for a PhD position in Molecular Microbiology and/or Biochemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, Biotechnology and Food Science (KBM). The position is funded by the Research Council of Norway.

Duration: 3 years

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold Master’s Degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other relevant subject area.
• Applicant must have some good experience with molecular biological methods
• Applicant must have hands-on experience with protein expression and purification; tools for structural studies such as NMR, crystallography or structural simulation.
• Applicant must possess good oral and written ability, in Norwegian and in English
