Job Description

Scholarship Program for the PhD Degree and Integrated MS-PhD Degree in Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea available for the 1 st semester 2020, starting March 2020. Advanced Quantum-Nano Materials and Optoelectronics Laboratory (AQNMOL) is seeking 3-5 PhD and MS-PhD degree students who are interested in the following research area.

appropriate candidates.

 Research Area: Nanomaterials based devices and Optoelectronic Applications

 Lab owned research equipment: lab is equipped for most of necessary equipment.

Modern lab environments: self-motivation and guidance combined system Diverse research activities

  1. a) Meta-surface based Photo-detectors by using NPs
  2. b) Meta-surface based Bio-sensors by SERS
  3. c) Meta-surface based Fuel-Cells by Hybrid NPs

Required Qualification

  1. M.S. or Bachelor of Science in Electronics / Electrical / Semiconductor / Communication engineering, Physics, Nano-science, Nanotechnology or equivalent.
  1. Candidates who have recently been awarded, or who are about to be awarded bachelor/master degree in coming December will be preferable.

* Candidates with scientific publications will be preferable

Closing date 15 July 2019

Procedures:

  1. Application submission by 15 July 2019.
  2. Online interviews in July 2019.
  3. Need to prepare the necessary documents in September 2019.
  4. Submission of all the necessary documents in October 2019.
  5. Official notification of acceptance from school in November or December 2019.
  6. Visa preparation in December 2019 or January 2020.
  7. Arrival to South Korea at the end of February 2020.
  8. Semester begins in the first week, March 2020.
