PhD Research Fellow: Materials Science and Nanotechnology 1939 views

The Catalysis section at the Center for Materials Science and Nanotechnology at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo is inviting applications for a PhD research fellow.

Project title: Adsorption and reaction studies over functional materials in a Temporal Analysis of Products (TAP) reactor

Duration: 3 years, with no compulsory work or for a period of 4 years

Starting date: between February 1st and March 1st, 2019

Qualification:

  • Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or chemical engineering (minimum grade B, ECTS grading scale).
  • Applicant must possess fluent oral and written communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language
  • The candidate must be highly self-driven and able to take responsibility for his/her own work, including troubleshooting and acquiring additional skills required to reach the project goals.
  • Candidates without a Master’s degree have until January 31st 2019 to complete the final exam.
