São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) has Direct Doctoral Scholarship available at the Bioenergy Research Institute (IPBEN) of Unesp in Rio Claro under the guidance of Dr. Ana Paula Jacobus. The position is funded by FAPESP in the context of the Young Researcher project “Collaboration Network: Modern Genetic Approaches to Increase Yeast Tolerance to Enriched Lignocellulosic Hydrolysates.”
Requirements:
- Candidate must have, or be finishing, graduation in areas related to Biology, Microbiology, Genetics or Biochemistry.
- Previous training in molecular biology is highly desirable.
- Candidate must have a graduation recently completed and within the normal term, with an excellent academic record and, preferably, successful stage of Scientific Initiation.
- Candidate can be transferred from the MSc to PhD. Candidates with full masters cannot be considered.
