About the Program
This project will develop electron microscopy and optical microscopy imaging-based and spectroscopic methods to establish new ways for aerosol characterization to provide information in high resolution. The project aims to test and improve analysis methods that can provide single particle information on a statistical basis, to better determine the source of a given aerosol and a characterization of ultra fine particle properties with regards to their potential health effects. The Ph.D. will be employed at DTU Nanotech as a member of the Molecular Windows Group, with Kristian Mølhave as main supervisor.
