Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) invites applications for a 3-year PhD position in plant physiology and genetics at the Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty for of Biosciences.
About the project:
- The main aim of the PhD project is to elucidate the genetic, physiological and environmental control of winter survival of red clover in a climate change perspective.
- The PhD project is financed by NMBU.
- The selected candidate will work in close association with researchers and technicians at NMBU, and be linked to the EU project EUCLEG and the Nordic Genetic Resource Centre.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have a documented strong academic background from previous studies, and be able to document proficiency in both written and oral English.
- Applicant must hold Master’s degree in Plant Biology, Plant Science, Plant Physiology, Genetics, Trait-Based Plant Ecology or closely related field
- Applicant must have basic knowledge in experimental design and statistics
